Book Description:

Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she’s so crazy about him.

But one day, she finds something. Something that tells a very different—and horrifying—story about the man she married.

What follows is one of the most twisted, shocking thrillers you’ll ever read.

Thoughts:

How far are you willing to go for Love, and what is the cost you will pay?

After finishing Verity, I immediately bumped this book up on my TBR List and am so thankful I did! (CoHo’s dedication was to Tarryn, and Tarryn’s is to Colleen in this one. I’ve never read any of her books so needed to see why everyone was talking about this book.) Let me tell you, I understand why everyone is raving about The Wives.

This book is twisted, dark (at times), and very unpredictable. Normally I’m pretty good and guessing what is going to happen next, but not with this one! I found it very fast-paced and am in a season of being very busy, so I needed a book that was going to move and keep my interest, and this book did exactly that.

The hardest part in reading this was buying into the polygamy and how the relationships work the first part of the book. However, the way Tarryn describes why the arrangement is set up, I was able to accept it and understand.

This book had many extremely well written lines that make you question what you will do and how far you will go for Love. Additionally, how far will we go to defend those we love and accept the truths right before our eyes. Sometimes we can be blind to what is right in front of us, and the way that plays out in this novel made for an unpredictable read. Add this to your TBR if you haven’t already.
