Book Description:
One letter a week for fifteen years. 780 identical white envelopes brimming with my sister’s darkest secrets. All the intimate details of a life as different to mine as could possibly be.
I read each letter slowly to make sure I understand it perfectly, one day very soon it will be a matter of life and death…
At the end of each letter, after signing her name, there is always one final sentence:
Don’t forget to burn this letter.
I’ll let you decide if I do…
Thoughts:
If it wasn’t for the last 100 pages of this book, it would have been a 1 star. While I enjoyed the twist at the end, the whole story was too unbelievable to me and there are pieces that were left unfinished for me which made it even more frustrating. I can go along with a storyline with some “far fetched” parts to it, but this one was too far and overall just left me disappointed. I was also very frustrated with the description of the book really having nothing at all to do with the book - but it could have been added a lot more to it if it was built upon.
